Consultant Geriatric Medicine – Tax-Free Dubai Opportunity

About the role

A leading internationally accredited hospital group in Dubai is expanding its geriatric and long‑term care services. They are seeking a Consultant / Specialist Geriatric Medicine Physician to join a multidisciplinary team in a JCI‑accredited, patient‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments covering functional, cognitive, psychological and social domains.
• Diagnose and manage complex, multimorbid conditions, frailty and polypharmacy in elderly patients.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans focusing on rehabilitation, falls risk reduction and quality of life.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care, including palliative care, medication management and mobility support.
• Collaborate with nursing, physiotherapy, social work and other specialties to ensure seamless long‑term care.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑board certification in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board‑recognized qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, European Board, Royal College, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licence conversion (full support provided).
• Willingness to work in a tax‑free UAE environment and adapt to a multicultural clinical setting.
