Consultant Gynecology

About the role

The Consultant Gynecology position is a full‑time, on‑site role at Phoenix Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The consultant will deliver comprehensive gynecological care across outpatient, inpatient and surgical settings, adhering to evidence‑based guidelines and hospital protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecological conditions, including high‑risk cases.
• Perform and supervise surgical procedures, with emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and participate in clinical audits.
• Contribute to departmental quality‑improvement initiatives and support patient education.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid UAE license or eligibility for licensure as a Consultant Gynecologist.
• Proven experience managing diverse gynecological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
• Strong communication skills, commitment to ethical practice, patient safety and continuous professional development.
