Consultant Medical Oncologist – Dubai (Tax‑Free)

About the role

A leading tertiary‑care, JCI‑accredited hospital in Dubai is expanding its oncology services and seeks a Consultant/Specialist Medical Oncologist. The role involves delivering comprehensive cancer care in a modern, multidisciplinary environment, serving an international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with solid tumours and selected haematologic cancers.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy.
• Administer and monitor systemic cancer treatments, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.
• Assess treatment response, adjust management strategies, and manage therapy‑related toxicities.
• Participate in tumour‑board meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Coordinate referrals to surgical oncology, radiation therapy, palliative care and other specialised services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in line with hospital policies.
• Contribute to clinical audits, research activities and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Medical Oncology (e.g., American Board of Internal Medicine – Medical Oncology, UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP with Oncology training, European Board Certification).
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialist or board‑certification experience.
• Experience in outpatient oncology clinics, inpatient consultations and systemic therapy management.
