Consultant Medical Oncologist

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a reputable healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves delivering advanced, patient‑centered cancer care and leading multidisciplinary oncology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate and manage patients with solid tumours and other malignancies.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy.
• Provide expert consultation on complex cases and monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting therapies as needed.
• Lead multidisciplinary tumour board meetings and collaborate with surgical, radiation, radiology and pathology teams.
• Deliver supportive and palliative care, ensure adherence to international oncology guidelines, and contribute to clinical research and education.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification from a recognised institution.
• Postgraduate specialization and board certification in Medical Oncology.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialisation clinical experience.
• Strong expertise in systemic anticancer therapies and complex case management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and clinical decision‑making skills.
