Consultant Neurologist - UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its neurological services, specialist consultations and care pathways for neurological disorders. It is seeking a Consultant Neurologist to deliver evidence-based neurological care in a multidisciplinary, quality-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, headaches and peripheral neuropathies
• Conduct neurological examinations and develop individualised diagnostic and treatment plans
• Interpret investigations such as EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies and neuroimaging, within clinical privileges
• Manage acute presentations and coordinate investigations, treatment and follow-up
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists and rehabilitation specialists
• Monitor outcomes and adjust plans for chronic and progressive disorders
• Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options and rehabilitation needs
• Maintain accurate records and take part in clinical audits, quality improvement and governance

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Neurologist with a recognised qualification (e.g. American Board, UK CCT / MRCP, European Board, Royal College Canada, FRACP, Arab Board, or MD/DM/DNB/FCPS)
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing; applicants from many countries are welcome
• Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication with diverse patients and teams, and interest in long-term career growth
