Consultant Pain Medicine – UAE (Tax-Free Salary)

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its multidisciplinary pain management services. The role offers a senior consultant the chance to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment with a diverse international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute, chronic, cancer‑related, neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain.
• Perform image‑guided pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation and joint interventions.
• Develop multimodal pain plans that incorporate medication optimisation, rehabilitation, psychology and lifestyle support.
• Coordinate care with orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, rheumatology and rehabilitation teams.
• Educate patients on long‑term pain control, functional restoration and safe analgesic use.
• Maintain high standards for consent, documentation, procedural safety and outcome tracking.

Required profile

• Internationally trained consultant with recognised pain medicine qualifications (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, European Diploma, Royal College Canada, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board).
• Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
• Strong clinical expertise combined with patient‑centred communication and multidisciplinary teamwork.
