Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist (American Board Certified, Arabic) – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders in infants, children, and adolescents, delivering compassionate, family‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric GI and hepatology conditions, including IBD, celiac disease, GERD, chronic abdominal pain, constipation, liver diseases, and feeding disorders.
• Perform pediatric endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment and nutritional management plans.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on gastrointestinal health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to international clinical standards.
• Participate in quality initiatives, research, and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• American Board Certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology (preferred).
• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory) and English proficiency.
• Eligibility for a DHA license or an active DHA license.
• Minimum 5 years of consultant‑level experience in pediatric gastroenterology.
