Consultant Pediatric Interventional Radiologist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering image‑guided diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures for neonates, children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary pediatric team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and interpret pediatric diagnostic and interventional imaging using ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and other modalities.
• Carry out vascular and non‑vascular image‑guided procedures, including biopsies, drainage, and vascular access.
• Manage complex pediatric cases such as vascular malformations and tumor interventions.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric surgeons, neonatologists, oncologists, anesthetists and intensivists.
• Ensure radiation protection, pediatric‑specific imaging protocols and dose optimization.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, clinical governance, teaching and research.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with specialist/consultant qualification in Radiology.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Interventional Radiology (highly desirable).
• Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Significant experience in pediatric radiology and interventional procedures.
• Strong communication and clinical decision‑making skills.
