Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist

About the role

Stafmed is recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist for a full‑time position with a leading hospital in the UAE. The role involves delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care for children with complex rheumatological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric rheumatology consultations, assessments and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis and other connective tissue disorders.
• Prescribe and monitor immunosuppressive therapies, biologic agents and disease‑modifying treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, immunologists, nephrologists, dermatologists and orthopaedic specialists.
• Offer guidance and counselling to patients and families regarding disease management and long‑term care.

Required profile

• Board certification in Pediatrics with recognised subspecialty training in Pediatric Rheumatology.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience in Pediatric Rheumatology.
• Eligibility for Consultant‑level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
