Consultant Psychiatrist – Arabic Speaking (UAE)

About the role

A leading specialist mental health and wellness provider is launching a new service in the UAE and seeks an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist fluent in Arabic to join the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for complex mental health cases.
• Collaborate with psychologists, nurses, physicians and social workers in multidisciplinary case reviews.
• Develop and regularly review individualised treatment and wellbeing plans.
• Support safe prescribing, risk management and clinical governance.
• Contribute to the development of clinical pathways, policies and service improvement.

Required profile

• Consultant‑level psychiatrist, GMC Specialist Register holder with CCT or equivalent international qualification.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with eligibility for UAE medical licensing.
• Proven experience in mental health, psychiatry or specialist clinical services.

• Tax‑free salary £150,000–£200,000 per annum (AED 60,000–85,000 per month).
