Consultant Psychiatrist - Dubai

About the role

Re:Cognition Health, a provider of clinical services for cognitive impairment and neurological conditions, is expanding its Neurodiversity Service to Dubai. The service offers ASD and ADHD assessments, diagnosis and management for children and adults, and the Consultant Psychiatry team provides clinical leadership, governance and oversight across all pathways, including ADHD and autism assessment, diagnostic formulation, medication management and ongoing care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level care in line with the scope of practice
• Provide clinical leadership and direction to all pathways within the service
• Lead clinical decision-making within multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure care follows evidence-based practice and clinical standards
• Prescribe required medications and act as emergency contact
• Provide specialist clinical leadership across ASD, ADHD and wider neurodevelopmental pathways
• Ensure post-diagnostic recommendations and care planning are robust, individualized and clearly communicated to patients, families and referrers, liaising with schools where applicable
• Act in line with clinical governance, compliance, patient safety and quality
• Represent the organization externally at healthcare networks, academic and research forums
• Support the new service and its expansion plans

Required profile

• Qualified and trained in the UK
• Solid experience in children's services, ASD and ADHD in a private practice setting
• Available to start in January 2027 on a part-time basis
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Desirable: registered to practice in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, already relocated
