Consultant Rheumatologist – Dubai (UAE) – Tax‑Free Salary

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Rheumatologist to join a leading JCI‑accredited multispecialty hospital in Dubai. This tax‑free position offers the chance to work with a diverse, high‑volume patient base and access to cutting‑edge biologic therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis and connective tissue disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using advanced biologic therapies and evidence‑based protocols.
• Perform and interpret joint aspirations, injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations.
• Collaborate with internal medicine, orthopedics, dermatology and physiotherapy teams for comprehensive care.
• Monitor long‑term disease progression and adjust treatment strategies.
• Educate patients on chronic disease management and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with DHA and international standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, research projects and CME activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Rheumatology specialist (ABIM, UK CCT, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, FCPS, MD, DM or DNB).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for DHA licensure or an active DHA license.
• Strong commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and patient‑centered care.
