Consultant Rheumatology Expert - JCI-Accredited Hospital, Dubai

About the role

A leading multispecialty, JCI-accredited healthcare group in Dubai is looking for a Consultant / Specialist Rheumatologist to join its expanding clinical team. The role suits internationally trained physicians who want to work in a high-performance clinical environment with diverse patient populations and advanced treatment protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis and connective tissue disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans using biologic therapies and evidence-based protocols
• Perform and interpret joint aspirations, injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound
• Collaborate with internal medicine, orthopedics, dermatology and physiotherapy teams
• Monitor disease progression and adjust treatment strategies
• Educate patients on chronic disease management, lifestyle changes and prevention
• Maintain clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards
• Take part in clinical audits, research and continuous medical education

Required profile

• Board certification in Rheumatology from a globally recognized system (e.g. ABIM Rheumatology, UK CCT/GMC, European board, Canadian/Australian fellowship, Arab Board/FCPS, or MD/DM/DNB)
• Minimum 3-5+ years of post-board experience preferred
• DHA license eligibility or an active license is an advantage
