Contracts Officer - Group Security Business Support

About the role

Emirates Group Security is hiring a Contracts Officer within its Group Security Business Support team in Dubai. The role provides administrative support for all department business-related contracts, keeping the contract database accurate and audited so that contracts are legally sound, financially feasible and aligned with the department's goals. It sits within a wider security group covering training, command centre, hub operations, crime prevention, threat assessment and aviation security assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyse contracts and the financial information of clients, vendors and suppliers, and act as first point of contact for contracting matters across the business.
• Maintain a dashboard of key contract information such as expiry dates, KPIs and financial data for management review.
• Keep the contract database accurate, complete and up to date, and track current contract templates and their versions.
• Ensure contracts comply with Emirates Group standards and provide regular and ad hoc status reports to the Business Support Specialist.
• Conduct regular and ad hoc audits as required by the business.
• Liaise with Legal, Finance and Facilities to renew or terminate agreements, and respond to client queries with guidance from the Business Support Specialist.
• Implement a robust storage and auditing process for all signed commercial and service contracts.

Required profile

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement or contract management.
• Experience in finance or facility management.

Required skills

• Strong contract management, including drafting and reviewing contracts and checking that obligations are met.
• Negotiation skills to reach fair agreements.
• Attention to detail in reading and interpreting contract terms, conditions and consequences.
• Critical thinking and decision-making to analyse financial information and secure the best agreements.
