Coordinator, Fleet Operations

About the role

A global energy maritime logistics company, which acts as the logistics arm of ADNOC Group, is looking for a Coordinator, Fleet Operations. The role covers scheduling, planning and tracking fleet logistics requirements and vessel certifications so that the fleet meets operational needs and complies with regulations. It also keeps marine regulatory publications, shipping notices, process reviews and other instructions up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to deliver vessel provisions, spares, service and repair orders and contracted service personnel, ensuring continuity of operations
• Coordinate crew deployment, sign-offs, manning levels, certificates' validity, licensing and other documentation
• Receive and deliver mission orders and help vessel masters prepare voyage plans
• Maintain a database of operational capabilities and archive monthly records, logbooks and other vessel documentation
• Evaluate technical and safety standards, review risk assessments and monitor vessel deployments
• Prepare reports on inspections, surveys, investigations and follow-up on actions and non-compliances
• Respond to crew inquiries and liaise with port authorities for permits and documentation for entry and departure from marine fields, ports and terminals
• Resolve scheduling conflicts between departments, take part in fleet assessment reviews and incident investigations, and contribute to performance appraisals

Required profile

• Diploma in Marine, Oil & Gas Industry, or Business Development
• Preferred: background and working knowledge of offshore support vessels or marine operations
• Preferred: good knowledge of offshore equipment, systems and associated regulations
