Corporate Accountant – Multi-Jurisdiction

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Corporate Accountant to join our Dubai office and manage the full accounting function for our UAE and Sri Lanka operations. The role combines day‑to‑day bookkeeping with high‑level business intelligence and board reporting, supporting strategic decisions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts and all accounting records for UAE and Sri Lanka entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Produce director‑level business intelligence packs with variance analysis, KPI tracking and anomaly flagging.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes, including accruals, depreciation, provisions and statutory financial statements.
• Manage UAE tax obligations (VAT registration & filing, Corporate Tax, transfer‑pricing documentation, Economic Substance Regulations) and Sri Lanka tax obligations (income tax, withholding tax, EPF/ETF contributions).
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance.
• Prepare rolling cash‑flow forecasts, monitor bank balances and manage inter‑company fund transfers.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting knowledge across UAE and Sri Lanka regulations.
• Hands‑on experience in full‑cycle accounting, month‑end/year‑end close and statutory reporting.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously within a small, high‑performing team.
• Proven ability to provide clear financial information to directors and boards.
