Corporate Counsellor

About the role

Union Properties PJSC is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsellor to provide confidential mental‑health support and strategic guidance across the organisation. The role focuses on enhancing employee resilience, productivity and overall well‑being through counselling, assessments and preventive programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide confidential one‑on‑one counselling for stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship and work‑related issues.
• Conduct psychological assessments and mental‑health evaluations as required.
• Manage crisis interventions for emotional distress, trauma or critical workplace incidents.
• Design and deliver mental‑health awareness workshops, stress‑management, resilience and work‑life‑balance programmes.
• Support the Employee Assistance Programme and broader wellness framework.
• Advise HR and senior leadership on mental‑health policies, psychosocial risks and return‑to‑work plans.
• Maintain confidential records in line with ethical, legal and data‑privacy standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Clinical Psychology, or MBBS with MD/DNB in Psychiatry for psychiatrists.
• Valid professional licence/registration with the relevant council.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical or counselling experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Demonstrated experience with employee assistance programmes or organisational mental‑health initiatives.
