Corporate Governance and KYC Officer

About the role

The Corporate Governance and KYC Officer will play a key role in building a best‑in‑class governance function for a leading international energy and commodities organisation. This high‑impact position supports board and committee governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate board and committee meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, track actions and follow‑up.
• Maintain and enhance corporate governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Prepare governance reports and management information for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with governance processes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support governance‑related due diligence and KYC activities, liaising with stakeholders across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance and commercial teams to embed governance requirements in transaction approvals and corporate initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in corporate governance, company secretarial, legal operations or related compliance functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Governance, Compliance or a related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting boards, committees and senior executives.
• Strong documentation, policy review, drafting and minute‑taking skills with excellent written English.
• Resilient, organised and confident engaging with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
