Corporate Tax Director

About the role

MHA UAE is seeking a Corporate Tax Director to lead its corporate tax practice in Dubai. You will work with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, providing strategic tax advice and helping expand the firm’s tax offering.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply UAE Corporate Tax Law, including guides, cabinet and ministerial decisions, and FTA guidance.
• Provide technical advisory on taxable presence, exemptions, reliefs, free‑zone incentives and business restructuring.
• Advise on international tax matters such as double tax avoidance agreements, permanent establishment concepts and Pillar 2 rules.
• Support clients on transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking and methodology.
• Oversee preparation of corporate tax returns, computations and supporting documentation for UAE entities and multinational groups.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns, registrations and de‑registrations.
• Mentor and develop junior tax staff.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of UAE corporate tax legislation and related guidance.
• Strong understanding of international tax principles and double tax treaties.
• Experience with transfer pricing matters and documentation.
• Ability to interpret new legislation and communicate implications to clients.
• Proven track record of delivering tax advisory services to corporate clients.
