About the role
We are looking for a qualified Corporate Tax Manager to join our expanding tax advisory practice in Dubai. The role involves leading tax advisory and compliance projects for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead UAE corporate tax advisory and compliance engagements for a portfolio of local and international clients.
- Review and manage corporate tax computations, tax return filings, and tax provisions.
- Prepare and review technical tax memorandums, advisory reports, tax opinions, and FTA clarification requests.
- Advise on UAE corporate tax implications, tax‑efficient structures, free‑zone eligibility, and cross‑border transactions.
- Manage tax due‑diligence assignments, restructuring projects, and corporate tax health checks.
- Support clients during FTA audits, assessments, registrations, deregistrations, tax grouping applications, and other compliance matters.
- Conduct technical research on UAE corporate tax law, OECD guidelines, double tax treaties, permanent establishment, POEM, Pillar Two, and other international tax developments.
- Lead client discussions, manage stakeholder relationships, and provide practical tax solutions.
- Monitor legislative developments issued by the UAE Ministry of Finance and FTA and assess their impact on clients.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their technical development.
- Support business development initiatives, proposals, and client acquisition activities.
Required profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 + years of UAE corporate tax experience within a professional services, consulting, or advisory firm.
- Preferably experience from a Big 4 or top‑10 accounting/advisory firm.
- Strong analytical, report‑writing, project management, and client‑facing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax Law and FTA regulations.
- Transfer Pricing and International Tax concepts.
- Understanding of Double Taxation Treaties, Permanent Establishment, POEM, Free‑Zone taxation, and UAE tax grouping provisions.
- Experience in corporate tax compliance, advisory, due‑diligence, tax structuring, and FTA audits.
