Cost Controller – Hospitality Finance Specialist

About the role

All Inclusive Collection Properties is looking for an experienced Cost Controller to oversee the financial performance of its hotel operations. You will be responsible for monitoring expenses, analysing variances, and ensuring that cost structures align with the organisation's profitability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and control costs across all departments, including food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance.
• Assist in preparing departmental budgets and forecasts, and track actual performance against them.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, profit and loss statements, and variance analyses for senior management.
• Oversee inventory control, conduct regular physical counts and ensure accurate recording of goods.
• Establish and maintain standard costs for materials, supplies and services, updating them regularly.
• Support supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and cost‑effective procurement.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, recommend efficiency initiatives and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimise cost efficiency and provide training on cost‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cost control, accounting or finance, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP.
• Experience using hotel management systems like Opera or Micros.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
