Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will oversee financial administration for the Food & Beverage department of a luxury hotel, ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and profitability analysis. You will work closely with corporate finance and various hotel departments to maintain internal controls and support operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and monitor all financial affairs related to the Cost Controller position.
• Maintain product knowledge of all hotel facilities and ensure smooth F&B operations.
• Implement and maintain internal control and audit systems for cost supervision.
• Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices, preparing accounts payable vouchers.
• Control the flow of goods across receiving, storerooms, kitchen, and F&B outlets.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end inventories for food, beverages, mini‑bar and operating supplies.
• Establish daily and monthly food & beverage costs per outlet and prepare profit & loss statements.
• Cost recipes before menu implementation and produce provisional P&L statements for special events.
• Maintain effective employee relations and assist with scheduling and HR communication.
