Costuming Technician

About the role

The Costuming Technician ensures the care, maintenance and quality of all costume pieces used in Miral Experiences’ live entertainment programmes across Abu Dhabi’s award‑winning attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair costumes, character/mascot and craft pieces with high attention to detail.
• Alter existing costumes to meet show standards and artistic goals.
• Support daily costuming operations, including staff check‑in, assignment distribution and radio communication with green rooms.
• Assist with laundry tasks such as washing, hanging, ironing and steaming of costume items.
• Organise weekly dry‑cleaning pick‑up and drop‑off, maintaining accurate records of items.
• Maintain up‑to‑date costume inventory and place timely orders for supplies.
• Collaborate with seamstresses, prosthetics, hair and makeup artists and other entertainment team members.
• Participate in on‑site and off‑site public‑relations events involving costumes and performers.
• Attend department meetings and handle administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in costume fabrication, repair and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse entertainment team.
• Organisational skills for inventory tracking and supply ordering.
• Flexibility to support events and public‑relations activities.
