Country Manager – UAE Market Entry Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior fintech leader to launch and grow Coins' operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role will drive market‑entry strategy, build partnerships, and ensure regulatory compliance as we expand cross‑border remittance services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a UAE market‑entry plan focused on outbound remittances from Dubai to priority corridors.
• Secure early partnerships that leverage stable‑coin rails to lower friction and accelerate adoption.
• Translate strategic goals into measurable transaction and volume growth within the first 12‑18 months.
• Provide executive oversight of compliance, aligning with VARA expectations and scaling controls as volumes increase.
• Maintain senior‑level engagement with VARA, representing the firm credibly in regulator‑facing matters.
• Act as the bridge between Dubai market realities and Coins leadership, ensuring alignment with international expansion priorities.

Required profile

• Based in the UAE with senior experience in fintech, payments or remittances.
• Proven ability to build a new market presence and convert partnerships into volume.
• Strong understanding of crypto and stable‑coins and how they enable remittance economics.
• Prior engagement with UAE regulators (VARA preferred) and the gravitas to represent the firm.
• Hands‑on, builder mentality comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑paced execution.
