CSA Planning Engineer

About the role

Khazna Data Centers is seeking a CSA Planning Engineer to join its Data Center Implementation team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on developing, coordinating and assuring civil engineering designs that support safe, compliant and efficient delivery of data centre and critical infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and coordinate civil designs including site layout, grading, earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements, foundations and external works.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, authority requirements and project specifications.
• Review consultant and contractor submissions for technical accuracy, constructability and compliance.
• Integrate geotechnical investigations, flood risk assessments and storm‑water management into design solutions.
• Align civil design deliverables with construction sequencing, phasing plans and project schedules.
• Support planning of enabling and temporary works such as access roads, platforms, de‑watering and temporary drainage.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with utilities, road authorities and off‑site infrastructure providers.

Required profile

• Minimum five years (60 months) of experience in civil engineering design and planning for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to work with geotechnical data, flood risk assessments and regulatory permitting processes.
• Strong understanding of construction phasing, constructability and utility coordination.
