About the role
The Customer Acquisition Specialist will work within Citi's Gold Acquisitions Team to promote and sell wealth‑management products to existing and prospective clients through outbound calls. The role is target‑driven, focusing on generating leads, upgrading relationships and meeting monthly sales and compliance KPIs.
Key responsibilities
- Promote Citi Gold and Citi Private products to new‑to‑bank (NTB) and existing clients via outbound calls.
- Upgrade existing Citi Blue relationships to Citi Gold or Private by increasing funding and deepening engagement.
- Provide qualified leads to the field sales team and ensure all predefined parameters are met.
- Achieve monthly targets for account openings, funding, upgrades, and client retention.
- Maintain complete KYC details for originated accounts and adhere to Citi’s risk and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal and field sales teams to identify conversion opportunities.
- Refer clients to investment professionals for specific investment or insurance needs.
- Stay informed on economic and capital‑market trends to support meaningful client conversations.
Required profile
- Effective communication and persuasive skills.
- Customer‑focused, target‑driven mindset.
- Ability to convince and hold clients’ attention on calls.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and objection‑handling abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of financial products and KYC processes.
