Customer Service Specialist

About the role

The Customer Service Specialist will join Protect My Data’s on‑site team in Dubai, providing assistance to users who seek greater control over their personal information. You will handle inquiries across phone, email and chat, delivering clear guidance on the company’s privacy tools and services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and live chat.
• Resolve issues, document each interaction and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Escalate complex cases to appropriate internal teams when needed.
• Educate customers on data‑protection features and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM/ticketing system.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve the customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer support and service skills with a focus on problem‑solving.
• Professional phone etiquette and clear written communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Comfort working with basic CRM or ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with data‑privacy or cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dubai and collaborate with a diverse team.
• Prior experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably in technology or service‑oriented industries.
• Relevant education or training in business, communications or a related field is beneficial.
