Customer Success Manager – Civil Government

About the role

Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager for Civil Government to manage and grow relationships with public sector entities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role focuses on helping governments integrate Planet’s geospatial data into critical workflows such as environmental monitoring, emergency response, and sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Own gross and net retention metrics for a portfolio of government customers, ensuring long‑term health and growth.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop unified strategies, provide actionable insights, and co‑create success plans and quarterly business reviews.
• Map long‑term account trajectories, identify risks and expansion opportunities, and lead cross‑functional teams through critical milestones.
• Build strong relationships across complex stakeholder networks, enabling internal champions to advocate for Planet solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management or a similar customer‑facing role, preferably with government organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to connect with customers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and CS tools such as Salesforce, Gainsight and Zendesk.
• Working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS or geospatial imagery products.
• Ability to translate technical data into commercial value and actionable insights.
