Cyber Security IT Assurance Senior Analyst (Emirati Talent)

About the role

This role performs IT assurance activities to protect the organization's information assets and critical infrastructure. It covers technical cyber security assessments and provides technical assurance that verifies the effectiveness of security controls and projects. The position is open to Emirati talent.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the technology environment to identify security gaps and recommend improvements
• Carry out IT architecture assessments from a technical security viewpoint
• Evaluate available IT tools and countermeasures and recommend best practices
• Review and validate IT infrastructure and reference architectures against security best practices
• Perform cyber security reviews of systems development or acquisition projects and validate security requirements and designs
• Run periodic assessments of existing IT controls, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and Red Teaming exercises
• Review security configurations of equipment and access to security tools such as firewalls, IPS, passive monitoring solutions and anti-malware/endpoint protection
• Conduct secure code reviews and dynamic security testing for applications
• Carry out cyber threat modelling for services and applications based on their risk and data classification
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business, or equivalent; MBA or Master's in computer science, engineering or information security is preferable
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, CISA or GSEC
• 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in cyber security assurance, assessments and architecture review; experience in multiple industries is preferable
