Cybersecurity GRC Specialist – Remote, $90/hr

About the role

We are partnering with a leading AI lab to train its language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role focuses on applying cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance expertise to create and refine AI‑generated content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate AI‑generated SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness documentation.
• Produce security risk assessments, control matrices, and vendor/third‑party security questionnaires.
• Draft incident response and breach notification reports.
• Create policy and control framework mapping documents and board‑level security posture dashboards.
• Ensure high‑quality document, spreadsheet, and slide deck craftsmanship across all deliverables.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity GRC, IT audit, or information security compliance.
• Direct ownership of SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST framework certification projects.
• Hands‑on experience writing or reviewing risk assessments, control matrices, and vendor security questionnaires.
• Expert‑level written communication with meticulous attention to detail.
