Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

The Manager of Cyber Security leads the enterprise cyber security strategy, operations and governance across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will head a dedicated team protecting servers, cloud platforms, networks and databases while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cyber security roadmap aligned with business and regulatory requirements, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and HIPAA.
• Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC), threat detection, incident response, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Manage security budgets, vendor relationships and third‑party risk assessments.
• Lead the design and enforcement of security policies, standards and zero‑trust practices across infrastructure, cloud and applications.
• Mentor and develop a team of analysts, engineers and incident responders, defining KPIs and success metrics.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT security experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Hands‑on expertise in securing Windows and Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle) and Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven track record in incident response, crisis management and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required skills

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CCSP.
• Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Oracle Security).
• Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) or equivalent container hardening experience.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, IAM and zero‑trust architectures.
• Knowledge of database security for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL and CouchDB.
