Data Analyst (Junior to Mid-Level)

About the role

A full-time Data Analyst position (junior to mid-level) is open to a detail-oriented, analytical and results-driven person who can turn complex information into insights that support business decisions. The analyst works closely with different departments to analyse performance, identify trends and give data-driven recommendations that improve efficiency and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, organise and analyse data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop reports, dashboards and visualisations to monitor business performance and key metrics.
• Analyse business data to find trends, patterns, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports to support management decisions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into actionable insights.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements to operational efficiency.
• Use statistical analysis and data modelling to spot opportunities and risks.
• Maintain and optimise databases, spreadsheets and reporting systems, and automate recurring reports.
• Validate data quality, investigate discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business planning and present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with good attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to handle several tasks and meet deadlines in a fast pace.
• Previous experience in reporting, business intelligence or data-driven decision-making is an advantage.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables and data analysis functions.
• SQL for data extraction, querying and database management.
• Data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau are an advantage.
• Knowledge of Python, R or other data analysis tools is an advantage.
