Data Analytics Expert – Customer & Commercial Analytics

About the role

The Data Analytics Expert will lead advanced analytics initiatives that drive customer, commercial and revenue decisions across the organization. You will translate business challenges into data science projects, build predictive models and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and scope analytical use cases such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, CLV, demand forecasting and pricing optimization.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and hypothesis testing in collaboration with sales, marketing, finance and CX teams.
• Prepare and cleanse data, work with data engineers to improve pipelines, and ensure data quality for modelling.
• Design, develop, tune and document machine‑learning and AI models that support sales performance, product profitability and commercial efficiency.
• Conduct market research, build TAM/SAM/SOM sizing models and integrate external data sources to enrich analytics.
• Translate model outputs into clear business recommendations and partner with BI teams to embed insights into dashboards and KPI reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in data analytics, data science or related fields.
• Strong statistical and machine‑learning background with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade models.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with commercial, finance, marketing and customer‑experience teams.
