Data & Analytics Lead – AI & Data Strategy

About the role

The Data & Analytics Lead will shape and execute the data and AI enablement strategy for Al‑Futtaim Financial Services and its related businesses. Reporting to the Group CDO, you will drive the creation of a unified, governed, and scalable data ecosystem that fuels product profitability, portfolio insights, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement AFF’s data strategy in line with the Group’s digital transformation roadmap.
• Lead the design, delivery, and adoption of a fully AI‑enabled data and analytics platform.
• Build internal data‑science and machine‑learning capabilities for use cases such as credit risk, pricing, fraud detection, and collections optimization.
• Establish data governance, metadata management, lineage, and quality frameworks in collaboration with Group data leads.
• Drive analytics and BI delivery, ensuring executive dashboards (profitability, equity, RoE) and self‑service analytics for business teams.
• Partner with business, technology, and AI innovation teams to translate insights into actionable decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or AI/ML leadership roles.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale data platforms and AI solutions in a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across business and technical domains.
