Data Center Engineer/Technician – Data Center Operations

About the role

Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Data Center Engineer/Technician, supporting the operation and maintenance of critical data‑center infrastructure across AWS cloud regions. You will be part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, ensuring hardware, networking, and related systems run safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Follow and promote world‑class safety standards, including red‑zone protocols and safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues, performing break‑and‑fix, de‑commission, media removal, and first‑responder duties.
• Execute root‑cause analysis for equipment failures and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Handle and lift equipment up to 18 kg and work at heights as required.
• Document troubleshooting steps using SOPs and escalate when necessary.
