About the role
Amazon Web Services is seeking a UAE national to join its Data Center Operations team in Dubai. The role focuses on hands‑on troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure that powers AWS cloud services.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain world‑class mechanical and electrical equipment in the data centre.
- Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions on exhaust fans, chillers, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers and diesel generators.
- Oversee facility operations and ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
- Identify, remediate and document safety risks or issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support continuous availability of customer services.
Required profile
- UAE national holding a valid family book.
- Ability to work on‑site in a high‑availability data centre environment.
- Strong attention to safety and procedural compliance.
