Data Center Operations & Sales Manager

About the role

NAFFCO is looking for a commercially minded Data Center Operations & Sales Manager in Dubai. The role leads the reliable, secure and efficient operation of data center facilities while growing revenue through new customer acquisition and existing client relationships. It combines operational leadership with sales and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data center operations, ensuring facility availability, security and service continuity.
• Monitor critical infrastructure such as power systems, UPS, generators, cooling, fire detection and suppression, physical security and building management systems.
• Manage planned preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, emergency response, operating procedures, incident records, change controls and disaster recovery arrangements.
• Lead incident investigations, coordinate with facilities, network, IT, security and external providers, and oversee capacity planning for power, cooling, rack space and connectivity.
• Manage operational budgets, vendor contracts, spare parts and cost control, and maintain operational dashboards.
• Develop and implement sales plans to meet revenue, margin and customer-acquisition targets.
• Identify prospects for colocation, rack space, power, connectivity, cloud, hosting and managed services, and build relationships with enterprise customers, government entities, telecom operators, cloud providers, system integrators and channel partners.
• Coordinate technical and commercial proposals, lead pricing, negotiations, contract reviews and presentations, and manage the sales cycle from lead qualification to handover to operations.
• Work with marketing and technical teams on market positioning and service offerings, and monitor competitors and market trends.
• Act as a senior escalation point for customer concerns, and lead, coach and develop operations and sales team members.
