Data Engineer – Python Backend & Data Pipelines

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Python Development Engineer to design and build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and data transformation pipelines for data‑driven applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend applications and REST APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Build scalable microservices and asynchronous applications with asyncio.
• Design database schemas and data access layers using SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, or similar tools.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, implement ETL processes, and create data transformation pipelines.
• Implement secure APIs with authentication, authorization, OAuth, JWT, and encryption.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested, production‑ready code and perform code reviews.
• Manage source code with Git and develop CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Python backend development and hands‑on work with Flask, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Proven ability to design and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous applications.
