Data Scientist, Analytics – Binance Accelerator Program

About the role

Binance's Risk AI DS team builds risk-detection models on large-scale user behavior, fund-flow and market data. This accelerator program offers a real-world project stream, end to end, such as syndicate detection, user behavior sequencing, market manipulation detection or feature discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Process and analyze billions of records using PySpark, Hive and Trino, and build robust SQL pipelines for feature engineering and validation.
• Build, evaluate and iterate on machine learning models, turning model performance into business metrics such as detection rate, false-positive rate and latency.
• Investigate data anomalies and identify their root causes.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, with Python and SQL.
• Experience with large-scale datasets; Apache Spark experience is a plus.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with a strong instinct for investigating data anomalies.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.

• Proficiency with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor
