Data Specialist

About the role

The Data Specialist will manage the full lifecycle of subsurface data, ensuring its quality, integrity and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. This role supports reliable decision‑making and operational efficiency across geological, geophysical and drilling domains.

Key responsibilities

• Manage acquisition, delivery, archival and restoration of all subsurface datasets, including seismic, well, geological, geophysical, reservoir, production and drilling data.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, consistency and accessibility across repositories and validate datasets for completeness and compliance.
• Develop and implement data‑management procedures, workflows and best practices, and coordinate data delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain records of data transfers, approvals and support integration of data into corporate databases and digital solutions.

Required profile

• Oil & Gas experience is required.
• UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• Willingness to work between the ICAD and Reem Tower offices.
• Available for a 12‑month contract, extendable.
