Demand & Inventory Planner

About the role

The Demand & Inventory Planner will support the MES Supply Chain Manager in managing logistics, import/export, invoicing and inventory activities for drilling chemicals and equipment across the Middle East and Caspian region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts for drilling chemicals and equipment, collaborating with commercial, technical and operations teams.
• Analyze consumption trends and historical data to adjust forecasts and conduct accuracy reviews.
• Identify sourcing requirements, liaise with approved vendors, and prepare sourcing plans to ensure optimal lead times, pricing and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment cycles, and prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Assess supplier performance on delivery accuracy, responsiveness and compliance.
• Support operational readiness for new projects, including ADNOC‑related operations.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management or related supply chain functions.
• Knowledge of drilling consumables, chemicals and equipment is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and forecasting.
• Experience with ERP systems or dedicated planning tools.
