Demi Chef de Partie – In Room Dining

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will support the In‑Room Dining operation at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort, preparing and presenting high‑quality meals for guests. The role involves both hot and cold food preparation, ensuring consistency with recipes and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items and cold foods according to recipes and quality standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; pull items from freezer to thaw safely.
• Maintain food logs, monitor portioning, arrangement and garnish, and ensure overall food quality.
• Communicate with the Chef and Food & Beverage team about specials, excess items and out‑of‑stock menu items.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating staff; act as a role model and support team goals.
• Follow safety, security and uniform policies; report maintenance needs, accidents and unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant culinary experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
