Service Staff / Waiter / Waitress – Japanese Fine Dining in Dubai

About the role

We are an award‑winning Japanese fine‑dining restaurant in Dubai seeking warm, reliable, guest‑focused service professionals. You will learn the art of Japanese hospitality while working with premium Wagyu, seafood and exceptional beverages.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional table service that reflects fine‑dining standards and Japanese hospitality.
• Explain the menu, Wagyu cuts and seafood, make personalized recommendations, and take accurate orders into the POS system.
• Confirm allergies and dietary requirements, communicate them to kitchen and supervisory team.
• Serve food and beverages with impeccable timing and presentation, coordinating with kitchen, bar, sake sommelier and reception.
• Maintain service station cleanliness, complete opening/closing duties and handle payments accurately.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant service experience, preferably in fine‑dining, five‑star hotels or premium venues.
• Good spoken English; additional languages (Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian) are a strong advantage.
• Professional appearance, strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm during busy service.
• Eligible for a company‑sponsored UAE work visa and notice period of maximum 30 days.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
