Demi Chef De Partie – Spanish Cuisine

About the role

The Demi Chef De Partie – Spanish Cuisine will support the Chef de Partie in preparing, presenting, storing and serving a selection of Spanish dishes at Kempinski Dubai. The role involves assisting daily kitchen operations while maintaining the high standards of food quality and service expected by the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie by preparing and serving Spanish menu items.
• Conduct shift briefings in the absence of the Head Chef to communicate operational requirements.
• Provide direction and supervision to kitchen helpers, commis, cooks, attendants and stewards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and reset stations for each service.
• Assist in on‑the‑job training, performance appraisals and induction programmes for new staff.
• Collaborate with the superior on departmental performance, budgeting and cost‑saving measures.
• Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience in a similar position.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and thrive under pressure.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times.
• Passion for Food & Beverage and a sense of responsibility.
