Demi Chef De Partie – Thai Cuisine

About the role

The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to support its Thai cuisine outlet. This full‑time position involves maintaining high food quality and safety standards in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure food quality, freshness, consistency and proper portion control at all times.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation in line with HACCP and company policies.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and report excess or low‑stock items to the Chef.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and handle food storage correctly.
• Maintain production records and temperature logs as required.
• Communicate menu specials, guest requirements and operational needs to culinary and service teams.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods and report equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, upscale steakhouse or high‑end restaurant, preferably with steak preparation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP.
• Passion for culinary excellence and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
