About the role
The Deputy Director of the Advanced Technology Department will lead the Infrastructure and Smart Applications sections, ensuring that all technology services align with the organization’s strategic goals. This senior position is responsible for guaranteeing continuous availability, reliability, and security of IT systems while driving digital maturity across the enterprise.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end operations of Infrastructure and Smart Applications, aligning them with strategic objectives.
- Maintain continuous availability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and applications in line with SLA and cybersecurity standards.
- Integrate infrastructure capabilities with application requirements to ensure performance, scalability, and interoperability.
- Lead business continuity, disaster recovery, backup management, and resilience planning, including regular testing and reporting.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and service metrics, ensuring efficiency, uptime, and user satisfaction.
- Govern IT operations, change management, and release management to minimize risk.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity policies, data protection standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor performance, technology controls, and service agreements.
- Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and preventive actions.
- Supervise user support, system training, and adoption initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports for executive leadership covering performance, risks, health of infrastructure, project status, and improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in managing large‑scale IT operations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture and systems integration.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience planning.
- Ability to drive vendor management and technology lifecycle governance.
