Design Director – Interior Design

About the role

The Design Director will lead our interior design team through every phase of project delivery, acting as the primary design liaison with clients and ensuring high‑quality outcomes. This senior position combines creative direction, team mentorship, and business development responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and mentor designers throughout concept, schematic, design development and construction phases.
• Serve as the main design interface with clients, presenting ideas and managing expectations.
• Prepare tender and construction documentation in collaboration with project teams.
• Coordinate communication between design teams, consultants and clients.
• Lead programming, budgeting and scheduling for interior projects.
• Participate in business development and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 10–15 years of professional design experience.
• Proven leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Track record of building and nurturing client relationships.
• Responsibility for profit and loss, cost control and project profitability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PC.
• Advanced knowledge of CAD.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit.
