Design Engineer – Global Design Team (Middle East focus)

About the role

As a Design Engineer within Tate’s Global Design Engineering team, you will lead product design initiatives with a focus on the Middle East region, supporting the company’s growth and maintaining its leadership in data centre infrastructure and raised access floor solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the global engineering strategy for Tate products, aligning designs with market needs and cloud‑based environments.
• Provide engineering and design expertise, proposing creative solutions and fostering innovation.
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand design requirements and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
• Work cross‑functionally with commercial, technical, project management, engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate designs from concept to full‑scale production.
• Integrate innovative technologies and sustainable engineering practices into product offerings.
• Conceptualise and visualise design projects, creating presentations and prototypes using cutting‑edge engineering tools.
• Develop and implement standardized engineering practices to ensure consistency and quality across regions.
• Build collaborative relationships with key customers to co‑create designs.
