Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Design Engineer to develop safe, economical and optimized piling, shoring and deep foundation solutions for a range of infrastructure and building projects. The role involves applying geotechnical and structural analysis to ensure stability, constructability and cost‑effectiveness while complying with UAE regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design bored piles, CFA piles, micropiles, shoring systems, retaining walls, anchors, diaphragm walls, secant piles and ground improvement measures.
• Perform geotechnical and structural analyses, including slope stability, soil liquefaction and soil improvement studies.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering reports and technical submissions for client and consultant approval.
• Produce construction, shop and as‑built drawings using AutoCAD and related software.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues.
• Review geotechnical investigation reports and recommend appropriate foundation solutions.
• Provide technical support during construction and assist in resolving site‑related engineering challenges.
• Participate in value‑engineering initiatives and maintain comprehensive design documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering is an advantage).
• 4–8 years of experience in designing piling, shoring and deep foundation systems.
• Proven ability to deliver optimized designs for micropiles, slope stability, soil liquefaction and soil improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, structural design and relevant UAE construction standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
