Design Structural Civil Engineer (DM Approved)

About the role

HIGH QUALITY HEALTH CONSULTANCY is hiring a full-time, on-site Design Structural Civil Engineer in Dubai, UAE. The engineer designs and reviews structural and civil engineering solutions for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with Dubai and UAE healthcare and building regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings and calculations
• Support site planning and layout
• Contribute to stormwater and drainage management solutions
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers and regulatory authorities
• Take part in technical reviews and support tender documentation
• Provide engineering input for facility setup, renovations and expansions
• Monitor construction activities for design adherence and prepare technical reports
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver safe, compliant and efficient healthcare environments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master's degree is an advantage
• Experience as a Civil Engineer in the UAE or GCC region; familiarity with DHA, MOH, HAAD, DHCC or comparable frameworks is an advantage
• Knowledge of local and international building codes and standards (UAE regulations, ACI, AISC, BS/Eurocodes)

Required skills

• Structural analysis, foundation and framing design, and detailed engineering drawings
• Site planning and facility layout coordination
• Stormwater management, drainage design and flood mitigation
• Design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000 or STAAD
• Strong MS Office skills
